Tea Baths are one of the oldest ways to rest and relax.  In a hot bath our pores open wide and our skin quickly absorbs the nutrients and medicinal properties of the various natural herbs used in the tea bath.  Bathing in herbs is also a great way to get herbal medicine into small children or people having difficulty taking herbal medicines by mouth.  The skin is the largest assimilation organ and soaks up organic nutrition quickly, especially when we are relaxed and warm.

Suggested Use: Spray onto a cotton ball and wipe face. Let air dry. Or Spray directly onto face while avoiding eyes and massage in then let air dry.

For a suggested routine: Wash face with our Foam Face Wash or our Luminous Soap  (our suggested face soap cause of its smooth texture and soft moisturizing affect). Then apply the face toner of your choice. Let dry. For a following moisturizer and healing we suggest using our  Vitality Cream (our suggested face cream). This is our face routine that can be done once or twice daily or as desired.

Fermented Rice Water:

We create a fermented rice water solution using a combination of all organic rice to give you optimum nutrition and microbiome diversity including basmati, jasmine, brown, wild and black rice. The rice is fermented in pure, non-chlorinated water.

Fermented rice water has been used historically as an anti-aging elixir by women of Asia as far back as 794 AD. It contains many minerals, antioxidants, B and E vitamins, and nutrients that help smooth the skin, minimize fine lines, boost cell regeneration, decrease pores, brighten, moisturize, heal sun damage and reduce inflammation.

Medicinal Herb Properties.

Cedar: Powerful astringen, excellent at removing oil, sanitizing small cuts and wounds, and enhancing circulation. Tightens skin follicles, treats over all dullness. 

Hops: Good source of antioxidants, fights free radicals, reduces the redness and irritation. Promotes hormonal balance, soothes inflamed skin, and aids healing acne.

Hawthorne: Helps prevent premature skin aging, increases skin moisture, protects your skin from UVB radiation and helps maintain blood vessel strength and integrity, aiding in brighter, healthier skin.

St John's Wort: Regulates hormones, speeds healing, treats skin issues, sooths sensitive skin, and brighten's complexion. Hydrates and moisturizes skin, fades dark circles and smooths fine lines.

Plantain: Historically used as a natural sunburn relief with it's anti-inflammatory properties. Contains allantoin which kills germs, bacteria and unhealthy fungus in the skin. Reduces scarring, treats acne and aids in the skin regeneration.

Saw Palmetto: Reduces acne and hirsutism (coarse hair growth), smooths skin texture, shrinks pores, improves skin barrier function and aids oily skin.

Tea Baths are one of the oldest ways to rest and relax.  In a hot bath our pores open wide and our skin quickly absorbs the nutrients and medicinal properties of the various natural herbs used in the tea bath. 

Bathing in herbs is also a great way to get herbal medicine into small children or people having difficulty taking herbal medicines by mouth.  The skin is the largest assimilation organ and soaks up organic nutrition quickly, especially when we are relaxed and warm. 

Drink plenty of pure water while in the tub to assist with detoxification.  We usually try to stay in an herb bath for 30 minutes to 2 hours for optimum effects.

You will get:  2 tea baths worth of our herbal blend of tea.

How we use the tea baths:

We first boil the herbs in water on the stove and let steep for 3-5 minutes, strain the herbs out and put the tea into the tub water.
