Activated Charcoal Skin Detox is a blend of 11 different powdered mineral and herbal cleansers and healers combined with Bee Pollen and Honey Powder. This is a probiotic detox, with EM Powder, which is a blend of effective microorganisms needed for health and well-being. The Powders are mixed with water and spread across the skin. As they dry, toxins are pulled from deep in the underlying layers of tissue. It also helps to tighten pores.

Activated Charcoal DOES NOT stain the skin, however it can stain fabric, so take precautions to keep this detox off clothes and bedding.

You will receive this skin detox in powder form and it comes in a 2 oz glass cobalt blue jar. The dry weight is 1.3 oz.

There are approximately 15 facial applications, of 1 teaspoon each, although it can be used anywhere on the body.

Directions:

It takes approximately 1 teaspoon of powder to cover the face and neck, although it can be used wherever it is needed. Put the desired amount of powder in a small container, add water and stir until you create a paste about the consistency of yogurt. Use your fingers to spread the paste evenly across your skin and let it dry. This skin detox should be left on until it dries, about 20 minutes, or for a couple of hours, as desired.

Use a natural fabric cloth (cotton, hemp, flax, rayon, silk) that won't matter if it gets stained when you are ready to wash the detox off. Hold the wet cloth soaked in warm water against the dried detox paste and moisten until it softens. Using gentle motions, wash the detox off. If desired, take before and after pictures so you can see the difference in your skin. This skin detox is beneficial to plumbing and septic systems and the environment, so don't be concerned about washing it down your drain.

Suggested Use:

Keep cool when not in use to extend the life of the nutrients, oils and probiotic cultures.   In hot temperatures, oils may go rancid and probiotic cultures may sour.  You may want to store the bulk of the salve in the fridge and keep enough out for a week's use.   

Apply as needed.  Keep out of eyes.  This is a strong medicinal salve.  Before using pre-test your skin with a small amount.  It may be too strong for some people on tender skin around the eyes and intimate tissue.  It has been used for lymphatic congestion, poor circulation, nail fungus, cracked heels, moles and growths, sore muscles, tissue damage, scarring, and skin eruptions on the body.

Why Use Natural Sunscreen:
We spend a great deal of time outside in the full sun with children and grandbabies. Although we try to use sun hats and govern the length of our exposure, a good natural sunscreen is a must for the fair-skinned members of our family. Gently massage your skin to exfoliate your tissues.  This stimulates your circulation to improve nutrient assimilation and your lymphatic system to detox poisons.  Wash the honey off when you are ready. 

If you are using this honey herb infusion on an open sore, wound, scar tissue or area where there is infection, you may want to apply the honey, cover it with a wrap or bandage. WHAT IS A HYDROSOL?

Hydrosols also known as floral waters, are produced through the same process as essential oils. The distinction between the two products is that hydrosols are predominately made up of hydrophilic compounds (water-soluble components) of the plant, with a minute number of essential oil compounds. SUGGESTED USE:

Shampooing Your Hair with a bar may be new to many of you. It is quite easy. Just get your hair wet and rub the bar on your scalp and hair. Massage it in gently and wash as usual.

Rinse with clean water and towel dry. We suggest you use a towel free from chemical detergents and toxic dryer sheets.

IMPORTANT:  This shampoo bar has a high amount of organic castor oil.  Castor oil is often used as a very powerful natural detoxification substance.  If you have ever used petrochemicals in your haircare products, you may have embedded toxins in your hair and scalp.  Many people experience detoxification symptoms when they begin using our shampoo bars.  During the first few days or weeks of use, you may experience toxins coming out of your hair and scalp.  This can materialize as waxy, stinky, thick, oily substances that may be difficult to remove. 

We experienced detoxification in the beginning as we switched from chemical hair treatments to our natural shampoo bars.  For some people the detoxification lasts a week, for others it may happen once or twice every few months when a new layer of embedded chemicals are pulled out of the scalp and hair.  Once your scalp detoxifies, washing your hair is simple, wash and rinse and your hair is squeeky clean.

If your hair builds up with toxic residue from the cleansing of your scalp, we suggest some type of vinegar rinse.  You can use raw organic apple cider vinegar mixed with an equal amount of water to rinse your hair and remove residue.

We have created a safe natural alternative.  By using a raw grown vinegar culture with our probiotic soap together as a cleaner you are ensuring that you are killing bad bacteria while leaving the good bacteria to defend your home. 

Here is what is in our cleaner: 

INGREDIENTS:

Raw Apple Cider Home-Grown Vinegar (8wk minimum culturing time) -water, apples, sugar, and mother vinegar starter  

Probiotic Soap (Misty Forest is the reference bar for more ingredients)

Essentials: Noted Flavors - (organic essential oils use) 

Other: Borax

Recommended use:

Shake well before each use.(The borax separates and floats to the top)

Pour half of the cleaner into sprayer of choice, dilute with 12-16 oz. (1.5-2 cups) of non-chlorinated water. (Vinegar should not be mixed with bleach/chlorine.)

Do not use on: real hard wood, granite, marble, and iron.

Being a live vinegar culture do not store in direct sunlight!!

Elder Wisdom Skin Spray

A very stimulating and powerful biodynamic body spray made to nourish your skin's natural microbiome.  Made from a probiotic/prebiotic ferment of aged kombucha cultured with many powerful infection fighting herbs that have been historically used to improve overall health, enhance endurance, help heal abnormal cell replication, growths, skin diseases, muscle & joint inflammation, toxicity and free-radical damage.  

Contains many herbs that are adaptogens, which help the body cope with long-term stress and return the body to normal functions.  These herbs are cultured for many weeks to enhance their prebiotic/probiotic action. Probiotic cultures help deliver the medicinal properties and nutrients in the herbs into the cells of the body, even through the skin (our largest assimilation organ).  

Elder Wisdom spray creates a warm, stimulating feeling on the skin that can be enhanced with massage for deep tissue penetration.  This is a wonderful topical product for aches and pains.  Some people prefer to water this spray down with pure non-chlorinated water to expand its use.

Suggested Use

Shake bottle well before use.  Spray directly on skin and allow to soak in.  Just after showering is a great time to apply, or before going to bed or out in public.  Notice the unusual sensations that this biodynamic spray creates as it stimulates the health of your natural microbiome.

Where there is muscle or joint soreness, you may want to massage the liquid into the tissues for deeper penetration.  Apply as often as needed. 

Comes in a dark blue glass 4-ounce bottle.   The 4-ounce tube is quite small so we recommend that when you travel you take off the spray top and reattach the cap.  When the bottle is tipped the probiotic culture is more likely to plug the spray tube.  If this happens rinse it well with hot water or clean with a small pipe cleaner.  Store at room temperature.  Do not freeze.

Caution: This is a vinegar spray; it will sting open sores and wounds.  Keep out of eyes.  Keep away from young children.  Pretest a small area of your skin for sensitivity before using in a large area.  Discontinue use if discomfort or rashes occur.

Personal Note from Nonia:  I developed this spray for people who suffer from various forms of chemical toxicity that often lead to inflammation, pain, arthritic-type conditions, abnormal cell replication and unhealthy growths.  The herb combination in this spray is a powerful blend of antioxidant herbs that come from various places around the world.  I use this spray on areas of my body that hurt, on skin growths and moles.  It has a similar herb blend to the adaptogen salve, so if I'm in a hurry and don't have time to put the salve on, I use this spray instead.

Empyreal Botanical Hair Infusion

This Botanical Herbal Hair Oil Treatment is one of the best ways to renew and revitalize damaged, dry, or just limp hair. It will stimulate the blood flow at the roots. This will help  to strengthen your hair and prevent dry, brittle hair and split ends while adding shine and stimulating hair growth.

Suggested Use

A little bit of oil goes a long way.

Heat the oil up and let it sit until it is a temperature that you can stand and won't burn your scalp. You can apply with an applicator bottle or simply your finger tips. You will want to apply to the roots of your hair and massage in to stimulate the roots to be receptive of the herbal oil. Leave in hair for at least 20-30 minutes or over night with a shower cap or as desired. Usage of a shower cap will help keep the oil in the hair and not all over the place. Use of steam or heat while the oil sits will help benefit the oils penetration of the hair cuticles, so we suggest applying the oil to the hair and then sitting in the shower for 20 minutes allowing the steam to stimulate the hairs roots.

You can wash with our shampoo bars if desired. We recommend just using the hot water and our rice rinse.

Sunflower oil is rich in vitamins like A, B, C and E and minerals like iron, potassium and calcium. Ample content of essential nutrients, antioxidants and fatty acids in sunflower oil make it highly beneficial for hair health. It helps with protection from UV lights and acts as a moisturizer. Sunflower oil is known to be light that is why it is absorbed easily.

Specifics on the oils used:

Sunflower Oil - It is rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and is effective for skincare issues like breakouts, inflammation, general redness and irritation of the skin. It has emollient properties that help the skin retain its moisture. It's also high in Vitamin E, A, C and D.

Sweet Almond Oil- The Vitamin E in sweet almond oil helps keeps your skin cells healthy, protects from UV radiation damage, and helps your skin look smooth, soft, and free of fine lines. The fatty acids helps your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin. Tamanu Oil- can be applied directly to the face to diminish blemishes, scars, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. It can be used as a makeup primer that allows cosmetics to last longer on the skin. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Carrot Seed Oil- is a skin-mender anti-ager because of its richness in pro-vitamin A aka Beta Carotene, vitamins A, collagen-boosting vitamin C and moisturizing vitamin E. This an essential oil that helps smooth lines and repair sun damage, scars and any other skin trauma. (there is a difference between Vitamin A and Pro-vitamin A)

Pomegranate Seed Oil-The high omega 5 Fatty Acid (Punicic acid which is great for its skin protecting properties and high in antioxidants) levels in Pomegranate Seed Oil makes it have strong anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties by helping to fend off free radicals. It helps unclog pores on the face to help in relieve the symptoms of skin traumas. It is also good for those with dry and sensitive skin because it provides soothing and hydrating relief.

Papaya Seed Oil- Brightens, lightens and evens out skin tone for a healthy glowing complexion. Helps with regenerating skin cells because of its large amounts of vitamin C. It discourages and reduces blemishes, scarring, dark spots, large pores, blotches, wrinkles. Papaya Seed Oil may aid in soothing inflamed, itchy, and dry scaly skin.
