Suggested Use:

Keep cool when not in use to extend the life of the nutrients, oils and probiotic cultures.   In hot temperatures, oils may go rancid and probiotic cultures may sour.  You may want to store the bulk of the salve in the fridge and keep enough out for a week's use.   

Apply as needed.  Keep out of eyes.  This is a strong medicinal salve.  Before using pre-test your skin with a small amount.  It may be too strong for some people on tender skin around the eyes and intimate tissue.  It has been used for lymphatic congestion, poor circulation, nail fungus, cracked heels, moles and growths, sore muscles, tissue damage, scarring, and skin eruptions on the body.

A personal note from Nonia:  I use this salve every night on my tired feet while I do reflexology, lymph nodes (under both ears and down my neck, underarms, and sides of groin), and where ever I have aches and pains or unhealthy skin on my body.  I have found that my healing results increase when I take extra time to gently massage the salve deep into my tissues.

This 2oz. probiotic sunscreen is made with 24 medicinal herbs and plant nutrients that are high in antioxidants, which have been known to help build one's natural resistance to harmful radiation .  The Sun Protection Factor (SPF) primarily comes from the un-coated non-nanoparticle zinc oxide and in part from the natural SPF found in organic plant oils.  This sunscreen is a great alternative to the toxic chemicals commonly found in synthetic sunscreens.  Human and Earth friendly.

Why Use Natural Sunscreen:
We spend a great deal of time outside in the full sun with children and grandbabies. Although we try to use sun hats and govern the length of our exposure, a good natural sunscreen is a must for the fair-skinned members of our family. Years ago we stopped using commercial sunscreens because of the chemicals they contain. Organic Lifestyle Magazine reported that none of the ingredients in conventional sunscreens are safe. The Environmental Working Group recently reported that there is some evidence that commercial sunscreens might actually increase the risk of some of the deadliest forms of skin damage perhaps because free radicals are released as sunscreen chemicals break down in the sunlight.


The skin has a natural ability to protect us from harmful radiation if we give it the correct patterning and the nutrition it needs to function correctly. Medicinal Herb Properties and Historical Uses:
