The beneficial microorganisms in LAB are extremely resilient.  They can live with or without oxygen, they persist at nearly boiling, and they multiply faster at room temperature than almost any other microbe.  LAB naturally removes dead cells while enhancing the growth of new healthy cells.  It cleans up clogged pores, improves healing, moisturizes the skin, protects from infection, boosts immune responses, has anti-allergenic effects, anti-oxidant effects and greatly increases the bioavailability of vitamins and minerals.
