WHAT IS A HYDROSOL?
Hydrosols also known as floral waters, are produced through the same process as essential oils. The distinction between the two products is that hydrosols are predominately made up of hydrophilic compounds (water-soluble components) of the plant, with a minute number of essential oil compounds. Cherished by ancient cultures for their medicinal benefits, hydrosols are used in herbal medicine practices across the world.
