Tea Baths are one of the oldest ways to rest and relax, while you absorb the benefits of the medicinal properties of the herbs used in the tea bath. Our tea blends have been mixed to give you the most out of your bath time.

The benefits of Tea is because of its many antioxidant and antimicrobial qualities.  Teas can be used for various therapeutic effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic, immune-enhancing, and more.  Since the skin is the largest organ in the body, a “tea bath” allows the body to absorb the tea and its beneficial nutrients much quicker than you could obtain by drinking tea.

How we use the tea baths:

We first boil the herbs in water on the stove and let steep for 3-5 minutes then we dump straight into tub water after/ while straining the herbs out.

OR we simply place the herbs in the re-useable tea bag provided and we drop directly into the bath and massage the herbs at its steeps for your entire bath time.

Borealis Blend:

Fennel, Fenugreek, Flax, Ginger, Lemon Peel,  Licorice Root, Marshmallow, Peppermint, Wild Cherry, Lavender Flowers.

  • Licorice- reduce fatigue and treat low blood pressure. Helps with mood balancing of nervousness, anxiety and depression. It has antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, stimulant, demulcent, emollient, expectorant, and aphrodisiac properties.

  • Ginger-  used in a cleansing bath because it opens up the pores, increases the speed of blood circulation, and encourages sweating for detoxing.

  • This detox bath not only boosts your health and prevents disease, but also strengthens your immune system.It has antioxidant abilities, anti-mucus properties, and anti-inflammatory effects. Ginger is an effective remedy for something as simple as a preventing cold or flu.

  • Lemon Peel - it has the ability to treat skin disorders, hair conditions, stress disorders, fever, infections, insomnia, and fatigue. All these benefits can be attributed to its stimulating, calming, anti-infection, astringent, detoxifying, antiseptic, disinfectant, sleep-inducing, and anti fungal properties. They also add a pleasant aroma. It is good remedy for restoring the luster of dull skin. As an astringent and detoxifying it helps rejuvenate sagging or tired-looking skin. Its antiseptic properties help in treating pimples and various other skin disorders. It is recommended for reducing excessive oil on the skin.
